Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
These Terms explain how you may use Minds-Bridge. By booking a session, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Service description
Minds-Bridge is an online platform and mediator that helps clients discover psychologists and therapists, choose available times, submit guest bookings, receive booking emails, coordinate payment, and receive session details.
Psychologists and therapists provide their professional services independently. Minds-Bridge coordinates booking, payment administration, and communication; it does not provide therapy and does not replace the professional judgment of the provider.
No emergency or crisis service
Minds-Bridge and any linked Mari support chat are not designed for emergencies, crisis support, suicide prevention, or urgent medical care.
If you may harm yourself or someone else, or if you need immediate help, contact emergency services or a qualified crisis resource immediately.
Booking and availability
A booking is requested when you submit the booking form. Your selected time is reserved while payment is pending, unless the platform team tells you otherwise.
Availability may change. We try to prevent double-booking, but if a scheduling issue occurs, we will contact you to resolve it.
Bookings for clients under 18
Clients under 18 may use the service only when the booking is made by a parent, legal guardian, or legally authorised adult.
By booking for a minor, you confirm that you have authority to arrange the session and that the information you provide is accurate.
Minds-Bridge collects and stores the guardian declaration for booking administration. Minds-Bridge does not independently verify custody, guardianship, or identity documents by default.
The selected therapist is responsible for confirming consent, assessing suitability, explaining confidentiality and its limits, and deciding whether the session can proceed. The therapist may request additional information, speak first with the parent or legal guardian, postpone, refuse, or redirect the session if consent, safety, or suitability is unclear.
Payments
During Phase 1, payments are manual. You will receive payment instructions by email. A session is confirmed only after payment is received, reviewed, and marked as paid by the platform team.
Client payments are collected by Minds-Bridge first. Minds-Bridge keeps the configured platform commission and the remaining amount is recorded as the therapist payout under the platform's therapist agreement.
For administration and accounting, Minds-Bridge may store the session price, commission amount, therapist payout amount, client payment status, and therapist payout status.
Automated card payments, invoices, refunds, and payment disputes may be added later and will require updated terms.
Cancellations and rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule a session free of charge if you contact Minds-Bridge at least 24 hours before the scheduled session time.
If you cancel or request to reschedule less than 24 hours before the session, the payment is usually non-refundable because the psychologist has reserved that time for you.
Minds-Bridge may review exceptions case by case, including serious illness, emergencies, or financial hardship.
If the psychologist needs to cancel or reschedule, we will offer you a new session time or a refund.
Client responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate contact information, use the platform respectfully, attend sessions on time, and avoid submitting false, abusive, unlawful, or harmful content.
You are responsible for deciding whether a psychologist is appropriate for your needs.
Professional relationship
A therapeutic or counselling relationship is between you and the selected psychologist or therapist. Minds-Bridge is not responsible for clinical decisions, diagnosis, treatment outcomes, or professional advice provided during sessions.
Privacy
Your use of Minds-Bridge is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Because therapy booking can involve sensitive information, please do not share more information than needed when completing optional notes.
Platform changes
We may update, pause, or change parts of the service as the business develops, including payments, accounts, therapist dashboards, notes, messaging, support chat, or AI-assisted non-clinical features.
When changes materially affect users, we will update these Terms and related policies.
